Somatics

A return to ease and wholeness

Somatic Yoga is an inward-focused practice that invites you to slow down and listen to the body’s innate intelligence. Sensation is the body’s language of communication. Through slow and subtle movement, we learn to connect with sensation and cultivate an interoceptive awareness that unwinds habitual patterning in the body and mind. In this way, Somatic Yoga reconnects an open conversation between muscle, fascia, and the nervous system—awakening the body’s natural capacity to heal and cultivate greater ease.

As a somatic yoga teacher, I guide students in the art of unlearning and mindfulness—learning to listen and release unconscious tension and habitual movement patterns that limit freedom and vitality. Through gentle movement exploration, the body remembers how to move with ease and integrity. When the body opens, long-held emotional and mental tension can also be liberated, allowing energy and awareness to flow more freely.

Somatic Yoga becomes an inquiry into presence and possibility—a return to ease, wholeness, and the embodied experience of being fully alive.

Somatic Yoga Can Support You With:

  • Releasing chronic pain, back pain, and muscle tension
  • Accessing quicker recovery after workouts

  • Reducing stress and anxiety

  • Accessing and integrating emotional and energetic holding
  • Cultivating greater awareness and embodied presence

I offer somatic practices through workshops, one-on-one sessions, small group sessions and workplace settings.

Tina and her meditative somatics practice are indescribably magical, & what a welcomed game changer especially for anxiety flare ups & emotional reactivity.  Through her mind-blowing creativity & graceful guidance, I’ve been learning to embrace discomfort, regulate a jacked up nervous system, & reframe negative thought. (Even my mother has noticed!).  Tina & her practice have been such special gifts, for which I’m eternally grateful!!

As someone who considered themselves a “ lifelong athlete “ and “not into yoga“ I can say without a doubt Tina’s somatic yoga practice has changed the way not only that I move and breathe…It’s brought presence to my everyday life. Getting to know yourself mentally and physically is a lifelong journey.

I ( and my type A nervous system ) consider finding this practice an unexpected blessing and weekly highlight.

I often say that Tina Lanzoni is magical, yet at the same time she is as grounded as an ancient tree. She is a deep well of vast knowledge—a well I continue to return to in order to refill my cup. My journey with Tina began a few years back when I became a regular visitor to many of her yoga offerings. Her additional courses on meditation and breathwork helped me to make huge strides in my self-discovery.

In a time of profound grief, I found the place I felt called to was the safe and healing boundaries of Tina’s therapeutic yoga class. Through therapeutic/somatic yoga I was invited to slow down and explore a space of peace, healing, and awakening. At every invitation to go within, to become embodied, to connect with the wisest part of me‐I made the conscious choice and effort to do so. Through this practice the initial period of my grief was transformed into a cherished life experience.

If you are looking for a practice that encourages peace, healing, and awakening, then grab your mat and make your way to one of Tina’s offerings!
