Welcome! I’m Tina Lanzoni, a certified yoga teacher with over 10,000 hours of experience, a meditation teacher, an iRest Yoga Nidra teacher and a Certified Yoga Therapist though the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy and IAYT.  Currently I offer online, in-person and in-home classes and private instruction. I invite you to join any of my meditation or group classes. All are welcome.

6 week in-person Breath and Meditation Workshop

Conscious breathing can be a used as a tool to create mindfulness, lower blood pressure, manage anxiety, improve sleep and lower cortisol levels. In this 6 week workshop you will learn basic meditation techniques and pranayama practices (breath work) to regulate your nervous system and improve overall mind/body health. Join us!

March 9 - In-Person Rain Meditation Workshop

Learn the 4 Step RAIN meditation practice of mindfulness and self-compassion. In this three hour workshop you will learn to break the trance of reactivity and gain an understanding of how to work with challenging emotions and negative self talk. This therapeutic practice opens the door to self-compassion and healing.

Therapeutic Flow - Monday

My signature class! A thoughtfully designed flow class that focuses on the philosophical, therapeutic and self healing aspects of yoga to bring balance back into life. Concentrating on various aspects of the human being, from the physical challenges that come with living and aging, to the emotional and energetic imbalances that create daily stresses of the mind, this class addresses the entire being and helps to restore a sense of wellbeing. The use of physical postures (asana) to create healthy movement patterns, breathing techniques (pranayama) to regulate the nervous system, and meditation to focus the mind are included in each class. The class will empower students with techniques that can be applied in their daily lives. No experience necessary.

Virtual Yin And Nidra - Monday

Virtual

The class begins with the inward practice of yin yoga to effect the connective tissue and relax the body. This is followed by a Yoga Nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is a transformative guided meditation practice that is done lying down in savasana (corpse pose). The practice induces a state of deep conscious rest that is conducive to emotional and physical healing as well as self exploration, understanding and clarity. It is a powerful meditation technique that is appropriate for everyone. No experience necessary.

Insight/mindfulness meditation - Tuesday

Virtual

A practice that involves paying attention to the present moment intentionally and non-judgmentally. By learning to focus on and be with the breath, sensations, emotions or thoughts, we develop a resiliency to the changing nature of life. Research confirms that mindfulness meditation helps with improving sleep, decreasing blood pressure, stress and anxiety, boosts the immune system and helps to stabilize mood and increase focus. This cultivates an improved quality of life and enhanced interpersonal relationships.
This virtual class includes a 20 minute dharma talk followed by a 20 minute guided meditation. Q and A follows  the practice.

Yin Yoga - Wednesday

In person & online

A slow meditative practice in which floor postures are held for several minutes to relax the muscles and target the deeper fascia and connective tissue which assists in maintaining range of motion in the body. By staying in the pose for an extended period of time the body’s meridian system is affected which enhances the flow of energy in the body and assists in balancing emotions and quieting the mind. The stillness of the practice allows for a meditative state to develop as well as a deep state of relaxation. A great compliment to more vigorous styles of yoga or any athletic workout. No experience necessary.

Yin Yang Yoga - Thursday

In person

A balancing practice of Vinyasa and Yin yoga. Vinyasa yoga connects the breath with a flowing sequence of movements to create a flow state that has been called a moving meditation. This portion of the practice which has a component of strength, flexibility and balance, will be followed by a yin practice to target both the connective tissue of the body and the body’s energy system to bring one into a deep state of relaxation.

I’m Tina Lanzoni, a level II iRest/ Yoga Nidra teacher, trained by Richard Miller, and a mentor for teachers in the Kripalu Integrative Yoga Therapy program. I have had the honor of studying Yin Yoga, Chakra Theory and Anatomy with Paul and Suzee Grilley an Insight Meditation with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. It is my intention and passion to make their teachings accessible to everyone.
